I’m super health conscious so I don’t eat a lot of certain things. Therefore I’m not afraid to avoid food I won’t eat.

I usually push myself to taste things that scare me a little, as long as they’re safe to eat 🙂
That fear often turns into surprise. The first time I tried fermented squid in Japan, I hesitated, but it became one of my favorite intense umami bites.

If the fear is about texture or strong flavors, I’ll still try. If it’s safety or ethics, I skip it.
