I can’t cook very well, however I was thinking on their return from interstate, they might like to relax and settle in to some heated up Chinese food.
I’m thinking of ordering some chicken and ham rolls and some lettuce leaves with minced beef in them. Something I can heat up that they can just eat as soon as they feel like dinner.
alternatively, I could get them some Thai food from around the corner? Thai food reheats better than Chinese does.
Are either one a good idea? If so, which should I get?

Both ideas are lovely, especially after travel when comfort and ease matter most 😊
Chinese dishes like stir-fries and anything battered can turn soggy when reheated. Lettuce with minced beef also wilts quickly. Thai curries, soups and fried rice generally reheat beautifully and still taste vibrant.
I’d go with Thai: a mild curry, some jasmine rice and maybe pad thai. Simple, cozy and stress-free.
