How picky are you when it comes to eating other peoples' cooking?

Not a fan, that's why I primarily avoid takeout, eating in, or eating food at gatherings

I'm okay with it unless they put things into the food that I don't eat.
Mashed potatoes are fine but, I've noticed that nobody else seems to be able to completely mash them and either leave lumps or they end up being dry. But, if they put other things into the potatoes (veggies, etc.), I'd probably avoid them. I hate having to edit my food!!
I went to a friend's house for Thanksgiving 7 years ago and when I got to the mashed potatoes, they PUT the skins INTO the potatoes!! Not just bits of the skins, THE ENTIRE SKIN of each potato in two halves!! Not only CAN'T I eat these but, I WON'T because they are a carcinogen!!! I can't understand why NOBODY peels potatoes, anymore!!! Do y'all have a death wish? And, they got pulled out of the dirt!! How much of that dirt is still on them? It literally takes about a minute to peel each spud!!
I love egg salad and deviled eggs but NOT with bits of celery and other greenery in them!!
Every week or so, mom would make a pot of stew and I HATED stew because the only parts I'd eat are the meat and potatoes and, as there were onions and veggies in the "gravy", I took none!! And the meat was nearly impossible to chew and had strips of fat in it so, I'd eat as much of each piece as I could and spit the rest out for the dog! So, having stew for dinner was like making me go to bed without dinner!
I don't like candy bars with nuts in them. I just don't like surprises in my food.
I'll eat spaghetti but I've never liked the sauce so, I just eat it plain with grated parmesan on it.
I'm not at all a fan of garlic but, one time, one of my high school teachers had me over for a Christmas dinner and they had garlic toast. I didn't know it was garlic toast but, I ate some and liked it.
Mom would make stuffed peppers, once in a while and claimed the peppers gave it flavour. I never liked or ate the peppers but, still couldn't taste the peppers on the meat! After she died, I made them without the peppers and there's absolutely no difference!! They taste exactly the same!! So, why waste your money buying the peppers no one's gonna taste?

When someone else cooks I either trust them enough to get excited or I'm worried enough to eat before I get there so that when the visible discomfort on my face is noticed, I won't be lying when I say it's because I'm full.

I'm not super picky about it because I really only eat over at friends houses that I have known for a while. So I know they make good food from growing up.

I don't look at it as anymore of s risk than trying a new restaurant. If anything a restaurant is a bigger risk a lot of the time.

I am picky about what I eat regardless. I would rather skip a meal than eat something I don't want or like.

I’m actually not picky at all with other people’s cooking 😄
I love tasting how someone else seasons, combines textures, and interprets a dish. Even simple food tells a story about their home and habits.

The only time I hesitate is if something is clearly unsafe, like undercooked chicken or spoiled seafood. Otherwise, I dive in happily and appreciate the effort behind the meal. 🍽️

Not so picky at all. But if it’s a dish that I’m used to my mom making a certain way then eating it differently just doesn’t really fill me. I can even like it but it doesn’t fill me compared to mom’s cooking and recipes.
