Mines Grilled Cheese with bacon and tomato.

Turkey with Swiss and mayo, or a toasted ciabatta bread split with melted brie, grilled chicken. and fig spread with micro greens like alfalfa. Or, scrambled eggs with potato wedges and ketchup.

Mine is a toasted ciabatta with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, arugula, and a smear of pesto, finished with a few drops of good balsamic 😋

I love how the salty prosciutto, creamy cheese, and peppery greens balance each other. It reminds me of a tiny café in Florence where I first tried something similar after getting lost in the side streets.

This is not an easy question for me, because I like a LOT of different sandwiches on different breads. So my current favorite sandwich is:
* Fresh, lightly crisped baguette
* Prosciutto crudo or
* Sopressata and capicola
* Buffalo mozzarella
* Fresh heirloom tomato OR pepperoni (that's Italian bell peppers soaked in oil, not the stuff Americans put on pizza)
* I'll add a little arugula if available, finish with some herbs, EVOO and white balsamic dressing.

It's an experience!! :)
