My bad habit is chasing heavy, comforting food after a long day: late-night bowls of cheesy pasta, extra ramen with rich tonkotsu broth, fried chicken from a tiny stall.

I balance it by cooking lighter versions at home. Same flavors, less guilt. Maybe keep the taste you love, just tweak portions and cooking methods.
