Why did you have to make a new account? You logged perfectly fine into the old one.
Tbh yes i got into it but it didn't let me submit anything because i had to verify my email. The email address i had is one i no longer have, so i couldnt recieve an email

Unfortunately, Admin can't restore access to the old account in this situation.
For security reasons, account ownership and verification are handled through the email address registered to the account. If an account requires email verification, the verification must be completed through that email address.
If you no longer have access to the registered email account, we have no secure way to verify ownership and cannot bypass the verification or provide access to the account manually.
In that case, you'll need to continue using your new account.
We understand this can be frustrating, especially when returning after a long time, but this policy is necessary to protect members' accounts from unauthorized access.

Welp i had a nostalgia trip with Venom. I just heard Cronos passed. I Spend part of tonight cranking up the albums. I actually wanted to do a mytake on it but i guess the rules for doing em are different now? I don't know.
As for my own music, life got in the way for a long time. Moving to a new home, a death in the family and work and relationship stuff was crazy, etc. I have not been able to create a band still but im finally picking the guitar back up. Im having to relearn some skill though. But enjoying the journey. I finally got some (decent?) Software to do some recording on from a laptop so im glad about that!
Some people have left and unfortunately many were really cool people. I do not remember you snd I hsve been here 5 years but welcome back.

I'm not sure about still because it's my third day here, but there are definitely some AI bots that are officially a part of the site. Then there are clearly some people who copy and paste AI responses because no one talks the way they are answering. But I tend to assume most people here are humans. Busy is relative I guess. I have noticed a few people bemoaning it isn't like it used to be, so I assume that will be your finding as well.
