I have not, but now after reading that blog I want to try marquesitas and Cochinita Pibil Tacos…
Do you have a passport? You should go. Yucatan state is still safe. They also probably have group tours you can book
I’d love to go someday in the future 😅 Mexico is definitely on my list!
No but it looks interesting
You should go. It's not that far from you
I can't imagine how much ketchup it would take to fix that.
Ew! Absolutely not! That's blasphemy
I'll just have a taco, then.
You can make it into a taco
I would be willing to give it a try but I think I prefer old fashioned ground beef, lettuce, cheese, tomato, sour cream, hot sauce and guacamole.
Yes, and I loved it 😋
Yucatecan food felt like discovering a different Mexico. The smoky flavors from recado N**** and the citrus from sour oranges really stayed with me. My favorite was cochinita pibil, slow-cooked in banana leaves, incredibly tender and tangy. I also remember a bowl of sopa de lima, light yet aromatic, perfect in the humid heat.
