Could you date a cynical guy? Why or why not?

Straight forward question. Could you date a guy who's cynical and maybe a bit negative at times?

Cynical: bitter, distrustful and negative

In all honesty, I really don’t think I could last long with a cynical guy. I’m very accepting but if it gets to the point where his negativity is affecting me badly, I won’t stay around. I am positive and I try to stay away from negativity… I have a sister who is very, very cynical and she really tried to affect me in negative ways. After that, I don’t think I could survive with a cynical guy.

I mean if a girl really digs you, she'll put up with just about anything until she can't anymore. So if she likes you she will, but if it comes to a point where it's hard to even be around you, she will leave. So be however you want, just treat your girl right. Or she will leave and you will just be another stepping stone to finding the right guy she wants by showing her the kinda guy she doesn't want.

I could certainly deal with a little negativity here and there since I am more of a pessimist than an optimist. However... The cynical part of it is a little over the edge for me but it depends on the person and how bad their case is.

Yes because i'm cynical. Not negative though, reminds me of my dad with depression & anxiety disorder, i already had to deal with that, don't wanna go through it again.

Cynical- absolutely. Especially if he's funny about it. I'm quite cynical myself.

Negative- no way.
