When a guys voice becomes husky it signifies that he's turned on and his voice tends to get really rough and passionate which really drives girls wild. Just think about it, when a girls voice drops a pitch or too, can you not hear the desire in her voice? On the other hand, if a guy had a higher pitched/squeaky voice, it would not sound so good and rather off putting. But in general, regardless if a guys voice is husky or not, girls just appreciate hearing a nice deep drawl. I was once infatuated with a guy for a month because of his voice and I've never even met him.
