When a girl says "I knew you would..." does it mean anything?

So this girl I like, we are in high school, a grade apart and we hang out at track often, and text a couple times a week. she says this often (more than anyone else I know) she says stuff like "I knew you would say that" after asking a question or "I knew you would laugh" after saying something. I know this probably means nothing at all, but I've been crushing on her for awhile so I really am just looking for ways of telling if she likes me or not, so is this a sign or am I just being desperate looking for proof she likes me?

To me it sound like she likes you because she's been paying close attention to the sorts of things you find funny or you say a lot :)

saying that she could just be joking around or it might be something she says a lot so don't get your hopes up. Hope this helps! X

She most likely likes you. When I like a guy I end up paying very close attention to him and learn how he would react and act to certain things and his interests. Unless you have been friends for a great number of years she more then likely likes you.

We met at the beginning of the school year because of track, and now we will be seeing each other for a good part of summer because of track.

It means your predictable thats not exactly a good thing but not a bad thing either be spontaneous you know do something that is in a different section of your personality

That's important. What I originally thought is that it's a character trait ( some people have certain sayings ) so does she say this to anyone else? I presume since you actually hang out so very little you may not know of her habitual behaviors.

We hang out like twice or three time ms a week at practice or meets, but when we hang out its not in like a group of people, so idk. And we don't really have common friends, since she's a grade lower, so we haven't really hung out in a group of people before. But from what I remember I haven't heard her say it to any of her friends.

Hm. I'm going to go with my hunch that it's partially a behavior; she may like you and all that but I'd hate to tell you that something she may say really often is a dead giveaway for it. The nice thing is that even if I'm right your pursuit will likely yield positive results anyway.
