Girl raises her pitch in voice, what does it mean?

So this girl I've known for a while sometimes when talking to me she raises her pitch big time like almost hearing a little girl voice. Girls, why would she do that? It's only sometimes.

She also barely talks to me and I dk if she's shy. She's talkative to others though. I'm shy and don't talk to her much either so she might think I'm not interested in conversation.

What do you think?

I do this constantly with seemingly no rhyme or reason to be honest. Men lower their voices 9 octaves when they talk to their bros. It happens.

That is true for some reason. I don't mean it but I do lower my voice when talking to my guy friends. Then when I switch over to a girl it's kinda high.

Could be that she's trying to be cute, and/or she likes you. A lot of girls do this to seem more feminine around certain people.

Either she wants to seem cuter or she's scared - when someone frightens someone their voice goes up in register...
