So apparently girls subconsciously touch their hair when they see a guy they like but?

Girls, what if you see this guy everyday? What if you work with him, or something your not going to touch your hair every time are you? Is it only upon initial interaction? And maybe when he talks to you.

Lol. I touch my hair all the time, it's because I'm concerned that if I don't then it'll stand out in weird directions and would make me look silly. I honestly doubt every female touches their hair only because they see someone attractive, in fact, I think they do that to make an "obvious signal" because this is the current preconception.

You're over thinking it. She just happen to be touching her hair. Girls grow up focusing on their hair a lot and putting their hands on it all the time. She's just use to doing it. she's a girl.

I can't say that's true all the time... I mean I don't do it. Mostly when I touch my hair it's because I feel either awkward or nervous about the situation and need to do something with my hand. It doesn't mean I like the guy. It just means I might be nervous if I do that and I get nervous for many reasons.

Lol stop worrying about her touching her hair, even though some girls do this. When I feel playful, I play with my hair around the guy I like. But look for other signs: does she stutter? Talk to you? Smile at you? Laugh at your jokes? Hangs around the areas where you're most likely gonna be? Lol

actually I am that way when I am nervous as I am talking to anybody - I always put my hair behind my ear, its a sign of nervousness and I have no idea if people can tell - I do touch my hair but not only when I see a guy...

That's interesting because I've known a girl for four years, I work with her yet she still touches her hair when she talks to me. I would say we know each other well as we known each other for a long time, yet she still does this.

Actually it's usually said that people fix their hair or straighten themselves up because they feel insecure or feel like their being judged/examined.

I think this was just some old wives tale started to help guys get the nerve to ask girls out. I work with many girls in an industry that's probably 90% female. Every girl who has hair longer than mine touches her hair all day. The longer the hair the more she touches it. It almost looks like some sort of coping method to deal with anxiety like having a soft cat on her shoulders that she needs to pet all the time. by the way there's no way that they're all flirting with me I'm not that hot.
