Girl stares with blank facial expression?

In marching band the girl that I like has been looking at me when I look around,
The only thing I don't really understand is the blank facial expression, any ideas?

Probably hard to believe but a blank face expression can mean a lot. I, personally, could randomly stare at people it's a weird habit I picked up a year ago. I used to look at my crush with a blank expression because he would do the same and I would be unsure of what to do. It's probably like her mind is unable to comprehend what to do at that instant or it could easily be that she could have spaced out. If you like her then smile next time you two make eye contact:)

she is either day dreaming, wondering why you look at her or if you like her or studying your behavior or just trolling trying to creep u out but its not working so she keeps trying until u say something or she might be super shy and doesn't know how to flirt back so she could only stare hoping you would talk to her. she might be looking at someone or something around you but accidentally makes eye contact with you once a while.
