What does it mean when a girl sits next to you?

So I went to a club meeting and this pretty girl I don't know sat next to me even though there were plenty of other seats available but she sat next to me. She introduced herself to me and we chatted a little but my friend later sat next to me and we chatted while she was there quiet. My friend later asked me if I knew her and that she looked like she wanted to talk to me alone. Though I did notice when I saw her a couple times she would glance at me. 2nd meeting she came to sit next to me again and we began to chat a bit and her elbow was on my desk hitting my elbow as the desks were pretty close and my friend left me alone with her. Recent meeting she was next to me again but I didn't really talk to her though she had her feet facing my desk a bit hitting mine. I really wanted to tell her she looked nice but nervousness got me and remembering about the last girl I was interested didn't go well :/ Overall what does all this mean? Is she interested? I am just a bit nervous on what to talk about especially with beautiful girls.

so in this occasion, this girl is interested. but dont overwelm her by going all out. but next time you see her, chat for a while and maybe flirt a little thenask if she wants to go out for dinner with you. or just make a date night with her. This will give her the message that you are interested.
But if nerves get the best of you, ask for her number. This way you will still show that you are interested and if or when you ask her out on a date it might not be ask awkward over the phone but dont text her and ask her, call her. That way you will show confidence in your self.
I know it would be nerve racking, but im sure that she is just as nervous as you. ;)

Sounds like she's interested. Just keep talking to her, and ask her if she'd like to go with you somewhere to eat or something. If it doesn't go well, well at least you tried. Better than always wondering.

She's defiantly interested in you! I know what it feels like to be nervous, however it is clear she likes you and she is giving signals for you to approach. It's sweet that you are nervous though, it shows you actually care.
