What does it mean if a girl can't look at your eyes?

We are classmates. We started staring at each other for about 10 seconds then she said:"Stop that!" and she run away. Before that, I was singing with my guitar and she was singing too but she didn't look at my face. She was in front of me but looking at anything but not my eyes. Does she love me?

Yesterday, she told me if accept to marry her. It was surprising!!

Well I don't know if it's this way for all girls... but I personally just have a hard time looking at people in the eye. I don't think it's a "dishonesty" kind of thing like so many rumors say... Now that's not to say I don't like looking AT people's eyes though... eyes are gorgeous! I'll look at them as long as the person isn't looking back at me! Once they turn to face me I generally will look somewhere else though... even if I'm talking to them. I think it's just kind of a nervous habit sort of thing...

That being said, she's probably just sort of on the shy side like me. I don't know if I'd go as far as to say that she loves you, but she might be having a crush on you or something. Or she might just be socially awkward like me. Or some mixture of both? You might be able to ask her about it even...

It means she is shy and may like you but doesn't want you to know. People say that the eyes are the windows to a persons soul and she doesn't want you looking in.

I don't think "love" is what she feels, but it seems she likes you, and she got shy when you were staring, that's why now she has trouble looking at your eyes, because she's shy.

well it could mean many things
- she could not feel confident enough to look at you in the eyes
- she could be embarrassed
- she could feel like your too good for her
