I have heard that some couples do similar stuff to this, it seems fun and I'm curious what are some of the things girls would get their boyfriend/husband to do if they won.

Details: you and your bf/husband live together by yourselves. You both have a week off from work. You have a bet with each other and whoever loses has to essentially do whatever the winner wants for that whole week where you're both off. You win.

You don't have to decide straight away, you can change your mind over the course of the week, the only essential thing is that he does whatever you want. It can be romantic (he has to sing to you, massages, watches all your favourite films), to embarrassing (you dress him up as a maid or in high heels and he becomes your housewife doing whatever you say) to the sexual (use your imagination here ;) ).

Only limits are no one's hurt obviously. You can't embarrass him in front of his friends/family (but he still has to do whatever you say in front of your girlfriends if you invite them to your house) and no serious damage can be done (can't make him do something criminal or something that could hurt his career).

So, do you make him do a few romantic gestures and let him off or do you turn him into your (kindly treated) slave for the week? Or do you do something in between or something I haven't even mentioned? Whatever it is, you get your way ;)

I don't know. My boyfriend is odd when it comes to those things , he doesn't like it when it seems like I'm nagging him when I honestly just ask him for something. So I don't know. I try to tell him without telling him. Like if I do something romantic for him or he does one thing romantic for me I'll say something like "I love when things are like this , I love being super romantic with you" so that way he can make a mental note to do it more often.

Well I haven't had a girlfriend yet so I'm no expert. I asked this question partly because I was curious what women would ask for from their bfs if they had TOTAL freedom to ask for what they wanted. I suppose there'd be a little fun competition and then the fun of the forfeit plus sharing each others ideas on what to pick as a forfeit. Like an elaborate game of Truth or Dare. It could help bring them closer together.

As I said I'm no expert and the idea of restarting the romance would actually make a great question, but if I had a girlfriend and she felt that she wasn't getting enough in that department, I would think that if she communicated that it wasn't about me spending money on her (all the stuff you mentioned were free bar the flowers) or me chasing her, it's about me showing her that I care and I'm thinking about her and that I want to share my time with her, I'd put in the effort especially if I knew that she would recognise my efforts and be grateful. Wrt what I would pick if I won, I don't know. I'm sure we'd come up with little traditions and unique things (in the bed and out ;) ) that would give me a basis for things to do. if it happened tomorrow, I'd say she has to watch my team (s) play (Man United and Ireland are playing tomorrow and it would be so much more fun if a hot girl was watching it with me ;) ). She has to root for my team AND wear the jersey. We'd have to go to bed at the same time (though id hope we'd do that anyway)) and get up at the same time. We watch my tv shows and eat my favourite food. She has to seduce me once (at least) a day.

Yeah, I'd like to think that if/when I get a gf, I'll do right and will make her happy. I think about relationships a lot and I'd like nothing more than when I'm 30 or 40 and I've a wife who brags about me to her friends and family + kids that look up to me. Money and fame just seem awkward to me, I've smaller ambitions. :)

Tbh, I do like certain things about this place. I come from Dublin, the capital city and I'm living in a small town in the country now. Some people still smile and nod as you're walking past them on the street. The local shops are generally family owned and a lot of them recognise me and still wave and say hello. Plus the town is on a fairly hilly area and in the winter the mountains are covered white. It looks beautiful IMO. I always walk a little slower to look at it (partially cos the streets are slippier :) ).

I think the best friend thing is amazing. Weirdly enough I once dated a guy that was my best friend at first and somehow we slowly fell for one another.
