Girls, do you ever flirt by giving the guy a hard time and teasing him?

This girl keeps telling me "im just giving you a hard time" and keeps teasing me. She is usually very nice to people, but we have always had a different kind of interaction and we are always shooting sarcasm and things like that.

We have fun although when i try to joke with her, she tries to act all serious. She gives me this "you are not funny" stare but at the same time she has this smile on her face, like she is about to crack up. I get along with her friend and they think im funny, but she plays it so serious and keeps calling me annoying, and yet she keeps talking to me.

Is she just weird?

She could just be weird, but my gut is telling me she likes you and doesn't know how to express it any other way. The people we are the most comfortable around we tend to give the hardest time. I'd say she really likes you.

I can ONLY flirt by teasing. I'm normally serious with other people. And that is my way of being comfortable around someone I like.
