GF didn't say I love you back to me :(?

She has said it today... But when I dropped her off at home (30 min car drive) she ignored me when is said I love you and instead said see you. I don't know if she even heard me, but yeah :/

She's been having troubled with her friend who she has decided to stop being friends with... So maybe she's just having a rough time with that.

When i noticed my ex bf is getting suspicious and upset when i didn't say love you back, i started saying 'thank you. You are very kind' i guess that turned him even more mad every time i said hahah. But yeah if i dont feel like i need to say i love you or if i am ponderig on something and i am having hard time, i generally do not hear. Hear it but it is like goin in one ear and goin out through the other. It s not like i dont love the person. I do not play with hearts so if i am dating that definitely means at least i like the person 'extremely', if i can't say 'love'. I think couples should not say i love you every minute it just kills the meaning. That was another reason i sometimes dont answer cuz not all 'i love you' means as deep as the other. Keep it limited, rare but find right times to say it. That makes her the happiest. And dont overthink j am sure it doesn't mean sonething like she doesn't love you or she ignores you. Just give her time.
Maybe you can try not telling a word of live for awhile until she notices or she just herself comes and says i love you to you. I did it with my recent ex cuz it was bothering me he was just telling me u r cute u r lovely blah when i say i love u on Skype or on text before he sleeps (at the time we were having ldr due to his education). So i stopped texting or telling him i love you and after a week he was like i need to talk to you, u recently say no i love you and dont answer me as much and this makes the unhappiest. Is there a reason i need to worry about. I really love u and i need to hear it back from u... So i felt really happy at the time. Bad that we couldnt close the distance even we had 1.5 year upfront as living together.

When my boyfriend first said I love you to me I got really excited.. and I said it back.. but i almost didn't... She may have been nervous or like you said she may not have heard you.

Ok, don't worry. The fact that you said she said it already means that you mean a lot to her. You also stated that she is having problems with her friend so maybe she has a lot on her mind. As girls we tend to be in really grumpy moods when we are experiencing break ups in the form of friendships or relationships. Don't let that get to you, one day when she has cooled off am sure she would return the favor.
