Trending & News She is your girlfriend and she is sending you a message looool... of course it's flirty
Yeah it's about to get real flirty realllllllyyy quick
I say that to everybody. Doesn't it just mean hello?
I suppose so but I think it's a pretty odd way to greet a significant other.
As opposed to what? Like "hey babes" or something? I don't know, she may just be comfortable with you so just says more comfortable things. I've been with my guy for 6 years or so, and I greet him "you alright" or "hey" all the time.

I find “hey there” to be cold and/or rude. Though I can’t confirm on the internet; for me the biggest issue with its use is when it comes from someone who was previously more casual. So it’s not necessarily the phrase, so much as the person & context. Trust your instinct, or just ask her. Or tell her a greeting you prefer, such as just Hey, or even “hi there”. Hey there, to me, just feels cringy.
Girlfriend or girl friend?
Girlfriend as in a relationship with.
If she's a new girlfriend yes it would be flirty.. but if its been sometime then she is just trying to start convo with you
