Any more feedback? Just wondering why a Sag woman would hold back her feelings when initially she was open with them

I've been told I am a little shy or reserved. I think it comes and goes. I find myself laughing, blushing if I am around a guy I like. I usually find myself asking for his opinion or advice and I am more likely to do nice things for him if I like him. If I am little drunk or high I am more likely to give physical compliments in person. As I become more comfortable I will talk more.

I don't really chase guys anymore now that I am 24 and experienced my worst break-up. I still smile and I figure if a guy really likes me then I don't need to try so hard.

I like to wait a long time and get a feel of what the guy is like. I am in no rush to be with a guy anymore because last time it was very beautiful in the beginning and then it just got ugly. I'd rather be alone then go through that ever again. I figure if a guy really wants to be with me he'll do whatever it takes. I'm done trying.

The chick I am talking to went from hot to cold. Like if she wasn't interested she'd cut me off but she won't tell me what she is feeling.

If I stop talking to a guy, the main reason I do that is because they person probably complains or talk about themselves too much. It can be toxic and since I'm sensitive, I may end up doing it. I am trying to stay away from people who are like this because I notice when I do it too much, it puts them off. Another reason would be the guy keeps trying to hit on me after I stated I'm not interested, so I kinda drift away

It happens. I cut my guy friend off before he could officially cut me off. I told him about an insecurity I have and he didn't respond to me after that. I just left him alone, stopped contacting him, interacting with him on FB, etc. Just gonna leave him alone for a while. I'm too toxic for him to be around and he's too proper. I don't think he really cares about the friendship anymore anyway because I kept flaking on him. I didn't want to, just that I get so stressed and manage time poorly. True friends will stick around even after you tell them your insecurities. I think people show their true colors when you tell them your insecurities and they decide if you're a compatible friend. You'll be alright

I would hold back if I've determined I'm willing to let him lead. And that's when I'm truly head over heels, when I'm willing to drop independence and see where the guy leads. He has proven himself worthy. But I would also hold back if in the past showing my feelings made him disappear or if he found it too aggressive.

I keep my feelings, words and actions to myself because I'm afraid of rejection. I kind of act the opposite so the guy doesn't find out: avoid him, act cold (Well that backfires and I act hot n cold)

No, I'm not shy. I eventually (sooner rather than later) tell the guy that I have feelings for him. The way I act and talk changes too, I'm sure. I'm a lot more patient and giggly and all that lovestruck shit.

Ok so you meet a guy and you are very into him and you are very open and honest then all of a sudden you start holding back. you still talk to the guy and you are interested but you kind of leave out the flirty stuff. why would you do that?

I would probably do that because I don't want to get too attached, and I'm not looking for a relationship right now, but I couldn't help but develop feelings for this guy. I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have said anything in the first place to him about liking him, but can't organize all my contradicting thoughts, so I can't explain to him about my behavior.

@playdatesx... I read your entire correspondence between you and the asker. Something similar happened to me. Me (Scorpio) her (Sag) anyway she was very forthcoming and open at first and when we would get to the point where in most relationships you realize your feelings are strong she would go cold and snap at me. I would ask her whats going on because rather than assume the worse I wanted to believe she was just afraid of intimacy but she would just get mad at me and call me weak insecure and etc... My question is that if you know you don't have feelings for me why stay? You like me but why keep me around if you can get what I offer you from the other 10 people she was most likely stringing along?
