Are college girls less superficial than high school girls when looking for guys to date?

Throughout high school I have had trouble finding girls to date. I have never been the flirtiest person, but not trying to sound vain or anything, I feel like I am a pretty good catch. I'm pretty intelligent and 2nd in my class, varsity soccer captain, funny, very nice and polite, athletic, always have had a desire to succeed, and I have been told that I am attractice. I'm hoping when I get to college that girls will recognize that I would be a good dateable dude. Now I will admit that I'm not the most outgoing person, but once I get to know someone I really open up. I'm not a very flirtatious person, and I'm wondering if this is a real problem. Do you have to be good at flirting to find a girl? Is being bad at flirting less of a big deal in college as it is in high school? Im hoping when I go to college next year the girls will be better at noticing a catch when they see one, and less focused on superficial things. Part of the reason I have only had one real girlfriend is because I feel like most of the girls at my high school are incredibly immature, and focused only on drama. Does this change in college? Are the girls less focused on gossip and drama?
