+1 yIt isn't ideal, but overall it's a small matter. It has more to do with what kind of person you are in general, than just one or two traits about yourself. Guys are use to doing most of the driving anyway so it won't really change much for us. The only time I think it might be an issue is if the guy can't afford a housewife, and you can't hold down a job, because you can't drive. Otherwise I think most guys could accept your not being able to drive.
A lot of guys might actually like it, because it would make them feel needed. A lot of guys need to feel needed in order to be happy in a relationship. Not every type of guy goes for the strong and independant woman like the media keeps claiming.31 Reply- +1 y
Interesting insight, good to know. :)

+1 yIt wouldn't bother me. I drive all the time so if a woman couldn't drive then she would just have to ride with me and let me ride her around every where.

I dont have my drivers license either and I just turned 22. I feel your pain! I hate it so much. My bf drives me around all the time and I can never do anything for him. When he went to the hospital one time I couldnt drive him home his friend had to come pick him up. Its ridiculous.
My parents got divorced and never helped me with my drivers license, its so difficult. Being a full time college student I can't afford a car. And well my school is in the middle of no where and the nearest driving school is an hour and ahalf way.
Thankfully my driver lesson and test is April 1st. I just want you to know... your not alone!20 Reply
+1 yunless you live in NYC you need to really make the effort to drive. how will you get around without always having to depend on ppl? you shouldn't even be worried about doing it for a guy, that should be something u wanna do for yourself. hopefully you have great reliable public transportation in your area but I wouldn't date someone who couldn't drive

Same here girl. Driving is so scary. I think it would be worse for a guy not to be able to drive because stereotypically they're the ones who are supposed to drive lol.

No problem here. I insist on being the one to do the driving anyway! Just scoot your little tush over to me rest your head on my shoulder or lap while I take care of everything. I will put my arm around you or caress your neck and hair while I drive, and give you respite from that terrorizing anxiety. Ahhh...

+1 yWhat scares you, actual driving or just having to do the test?
If it's the actual driving - it's probably for the best, you don't want to be a timid driver or panic and cause an accident.
If it's the test, it might be a matter of getting a lot more practice so you know how good you are and aren't worried.00 Reply
+1 yno, not at all but... if things got serious it would be a huge issue. What are you going to do when you have kids? or need to get to work far away? This is something you need to resolve or move to a city with EXCELLENT public transportation.
00 ReplyIf she can't drive because of the same reason as you, or due to medical problems, then I'd be fine with it. But if she could easily get her license but just chooses not to, then I would find that childish.

+1 yI don't think they really care but driving is useful so you should learn

+1 yno, in time it would kind of be an issue. i mean the guy might be at work and the kids need to be brought to day care or school or activities... stuff like that. but in general no
10 ReplyNope, not at all.
I get turned off is when the girl is mannish and not feminine.60 ReplyDepends on your age. At 17? No. But by the time you're 20 its time to learn to drive. While I'm sorry you have anxiety, thats no reason to not accept a little responsibility
00 ReplyFor me a turn off. Dont take it personal but i am a car guy. My wife has to be able to drive my high horsepower heavy clutch manual transmission cars. Otherwise she is useless to me.

+1 yA turn off? Yea I'm allways totally turned off if there's a smoking hot girl that doesn't drive.
What retarded questions some come up with.
Turn off?>>> brainless immature childish girls10 ReplyWhere I live, you can't really do anything if you can't drive. Public transportation is practically nonexistent. It takes three times longer to do anything if you don't drive. So it's a major problem for me.

+1 yNo, because i'm the one driving. Just sit your ass in the passenger seat.

+1 yWe really do not give a f*** if a woman can or cannot drive. But if she has a license, she better know how to drive WELL.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI had issues getting a license too (I failed 4 times and eventually passed on the 5th) so I would drive you around but also encourage you to drive. It definitely wouldn't be a deal breaker.

+1 yNo it's not a problem , hey you can only do what you can

Guys who are into you wouldn't really care if you don't drive20 ReplyNot a problem, but certainly an inconvenience. I'm not a taxi service.

+1 yIt makes things hard but if your a good navigator then it makes up for it
00 ReplyNo it's not a turn off. Actually we are in the same boat. I can't drive right now for medical reasons and I'm hoping a girl would understand that and it won't bother her.
+1 yNope not a biggie... especially if it bothered you that much.

+1 ywell i kind of wouldn´t like the fact that being around me would put you under pressure. you should be casual around me...
00 Reply Yes. I'd say most do.

10 ReplyI would not really care, as long as she tells me why she can't drive.

00 ReplyNah driving isn't a fact & i think each & every time you give a driving test you become obsessed with fear. Try calming down a little bit from now on whenever you are attending any test :)
