Work colleague asking lots of personal questions?

Gorgeous younger lady asking me loads of questions: what car do I drive, are they real diamonds, is that a Rolex, wish my hair was same colour as yours, you look young, look tanned, etc.

Just curious whether this is normal innocent behaviour or harvesting information for other reasons? Perhaps she likes me or is merely being nosey?

She could be bored and making pointless smalltalk cause she's into those kinds of material things, she could be sussing you out to see if you have money, she could be interested in getting to know you and this is her way of talking to you.

That's exactly it, could be any combination of those things. Can still be interested in or like somebody without being attracted to somebody. It's so hard to know for sure. Until you ask or something materialises or not, it's just guesswork. Thanks.

You can tell based on the tone and her body language though.

If she's bored, she'll be like that with every coworker, she'll not be hinting or making any plans outside of work etc. If she's interested she'll try to suss out if you have a gf/if you two have stuff in common etc and usually will treat you differently than other coworkers.

If anyone fires lots of personal questions at me, i don't answer , i just repeat the same questions back to them. Sounds like she is being sarcastic to you

Nah, I wasn't offended. We got on well and I don't think she was being sarcastic regardless of her own feelings towards me. I just answered whatever and probably asked her a few questions looking back.

Could be true, but most people wouldn't want to marry a tramp so it is important potential partners can pay their way in life. She seems a really nice person, genuine and intelligent. Think going by how beautiful she is she could easily get someone wealthier than me, lol.

it doesn't mean she's a horrible person because she asked questions like that, though women won't admit it they all care at least a little about how much money a guy has lol
