Girls, girl asked me to hang out randomly. Is she interested in me?

On my way walking to a group function, a girl in my class whom I never talked to before asked me if I wanted to hang out with her during Spring Break. I said yeah and got her number. Normally I would not need advice for situations involving girls, but this has never happened to me before. I don't want to think she is interested when she is just being friendly. Also she is attractive so it was faltering. I just want to know if a girl randomly ask a guy who she barely knows to hang out, does that mean she is interested in more than friendship?
