What does it mean if my crush knows my name but I never told it to her?

So I sat with my crush at lunch today and we were having a really good conversation. She seemed very interested and was smiling and occasionally giggling but then I asked her what her name was and she told me, then I asked her if she knew my name and she knew it right off the bat. This confused me because this was the first time we were actually talking besides a communtiy service event over two weeks ago where I literally spoke one sentence too her. But I never told her my name. I followed her on instagram over two weeks ago and she followed back but I didn't think she would know me through that. When I asked her how she knew my name she smiled and said I think I heard someone call you that before, I'm really good with names. Is it weird she remembered my name, or a coincidence? We're also in different parts of the school so our friends don't even know each other either. Need opinions.

Dude, just stop over thinking. She knows your name, cool. Does it matter how? Honestly, two things are a possibility here. She legitimately did hear it, and she is good with names and therefore being honest with you (Hold the phone! No way!). Or she stalked your Instagram. Either way, you've given her something to remember, so why aren't you asking her out? Get out there and ask her, stop being scared about why she knows your name. And for the love of god, please stop over thinking stuff like this, otherwise you're going to strangle the life out of a good time. One way or another, sounds like she's into you, take that and have fun, stop worrying.

i don't think you need to be worried about it. she could've seen it in a comment on instagram. dm a follower of yours. asked a friend trust me it's not that bizarre. you're overthinking this
