You've clearly never started dating a girl and having a conversation--especially online or texting?
They are reactive and generally wait for the guys to come to them. Men are the ones that have to come up with conversations, and dates.. Men are expected to entertain them and to be funny to get their attention. Men have to put in wayyyy more effort, which takes creativity and hobbies.

I think in the dating world sense, for some reason its always the guys who are still expected have to initiate everything. They have to have to have the courage to come up to girls and plan dates and conversations. All of that takes courage and creativity. So basically girls now adays are lazy and expect guys to do this, which is why I find the vast majority of them boring.
