I've always had this thing for bad guys. Bad guys who don't run after me, bad guys who don't compliment me much, bad guys who keep me hanging sometimes. There's just something about someone who looks like they don't want you that makes you want them. I don't mean that they never act like they like you, because when they do it's so special and makes you feel amazing. I was talking to a friend and she said she only goes for sweet guys who are understanding, sensitive and caring. All qualities from which I run away, because they're so clingy.
But she said something that made sense. She said, that a lot later, when you're older and you have issues and problems and you just need someone to support you, it won't be the bad guy. It'll be the good guy who'll reason with you, understand you and not be playing games that will fuck your mind up.
That actually made so much sense and now I think good guys are a better choice, at least for relationships.
well, what you said is pretty much the reason why i put those long run short run things in the question. yet i don't know what exactly you mean by relationships. any kind of relationships? i mean short and long run? and if so, what kind of relationships bad guys are suitable for?
Bad guys are good for the age I'm at I suppose, for when I just want an exciting fling if you may? But I wouldn't settle down for a bad guy.
Sweet guys all the way! I don't have the time or patience to deal with a "bad boy" and I find them obnoxious and childish. Every guys I rejected I rejected because he was a "bad boy" or just a plain old self absorbed jerk. My boyfriend is a total sweetie and he's everything I've ever wanted. People used to call me a "picky bitch" in high school but I don't see whats so wrong with me just wanting to be treated well and not wanting to date an asshole :/ But whatever I waited for someone who fit my standards and who I could actually trust. #NoShame.
I like a sweet guy, but not too sweet. Too much mushy stuff starts to make me uncomfortable, LoL. I think I might be into someone that is like 1/2 bad boy and 1/2 sweet guy. He's hot and cold with me which makes me want him more. :/
A mix of the two because in the long Run u can count on metting someone darker half. i promise frankly i would be worried if someone was always the same all the time people are mercurial
shoot I accidentally clicked D.
I'd date a bad guy but marry the good, sweet guy.
wouldn't you date the sweet guy before marriage?
of course I would, I mean I wouldn't exclusively go for bad guys. It's just looking back at the short-term flings I had, the best and most memorable times I had were with the one bad guy I went out with.
I'm not saying sweet guys are boring, tbh I was just having fun with your question and thinking in theory. IRL, I probably wouldn't waste my time on another bad guy and look for "the one" amongst the sea of sweet guys out there.
I mean I would look for the one, I'd date sweet guys for my future long-term relationship
nice..
Bad guy for a short run, and a mixture of both for the long run
and what exactly do you mean by short run?
Maybe like a month or something. I don't really know but just someone to keep me occupied i guess
Sweet guy but he can't be a pushover. He needs to have opinions.
I agree with you on this miss Anonymous!
yeah right. but being sweet doesn't mean being a pushover
Ofcourse it doesn't. But what attracts girls about bad boys is confidence. They have opinions and their own mind. They know what they want.
So I just wanted to add that sweet guy who isn't a pushover because being a bad boy means he isn't a pushover
Sweet guy for the win
i prefer a sweet guy!!!
I like the sweet guys!
Sweet guy all the way.
... None.
.
you're not into guys are you?
so.. what's your type of guy?
ah, sweet doesn't mean pushover
caring, sensitive, understanding, reasonable, quiet maybe
