Would a girl respond to texts from a guy she wasn't interested in?

Just out of curiosity if you texted a girl who knew you like her would she still text if she wasn't interested? I know some people will say she would be but they would be one word and come off as disinterested. When I text her she engages and and her messages are longer, she talks about what she's doing, and they contain exclamation points. I just don't know.

I text a guy who has a big crush on me and im not interested in him at all. It depends what kind of girl she is though, im really friendly so i tend to type messages that are kind of long or when we're talking about scary movies. Overall you know when she isn't really interested when she is distant or like you said how she would be one worded. She sounds like she likes you.

I would think that she enjoys what you two are talking about personally, not that she's interested in you (concerning the exclamation points).

Ok I would say she is more of an acquaintance. Not really a close friend.

She would. Some girls do, some don't. All depends on the girl.

It could in the middle: she does not have the expectation to have a relationship, but she thinks you are good to be friend because you are respectful, funny, caring, etc; you have a chance to move your relationship from friendship to romantic relationship.
