She said she likes me but never talks to me first?

I like this shy girl and she said she likes me too after I admitted my feelings towards her. I asked her out and she said yes. We are going on a date this weekend.

However, she never talks to me first when she sees me in school. She'd smile sweetly at me and we'd greet each other but she WON'T talk to me unless I say something first. She never comes to me and strikes up a conversation. It's always me who approaches her to talk.

I don't mind to take the initiative since I'm the guy. But sometimes I can't help but wonder if she really likes talking to me if she never approaches me on her own. I know she is shy but she'd talk to me if she really likes me, right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I really enjoy talking to her but I'm worried if I'd annoy her if I'm always the one who makes the first move.

It might just be that she is shy, over time and when you get to know each other better dating she might start to be a little more confident.

I don't think that she will get annoyed at you making a move. If she is shy she might appreciate it!

She's shy probably like me. In my opinion she seems to smile at you and is willing to at least talk. I think she wants you to be a little confident and lead the way forward. I was like this. Don't be worried if you're annoying her, just be yourself and take her out. Sometimes girls necessarily open up too quickly. Maybe she just wants you to go after her. Don't stress she said she likes you... be confident and show her that you love her... its ok to make the first move, i like guys to make the first move
