So, Say there was some guy, And he lost a lot of weight, and he got loose skin as a result of it, and his body looked like this, Would you date him (Marybe marry him and have a life with him too) ?

Before anyone says :

1) No, You cannot ''tighten'' this much loose skin, Dont give me that bulshit, Its physically impossible.
2) Surgery is out of the question to remove it, It simply costs too much money.

No, I wouldn't ever go near him, It looks too bad

Keep in mind that after weight loss, the loose skin takes up to 2 years to get tighter and working out and building muscles can help a lot. In the end the person who has lost a considerable amount of weight might not look like someone who has never had any weight issues, but they can definitely improve the flabs with building muscles.
I don't think it's disgusting. To me, it's like a scar with a story behind it. Because every squer inch of that flabby skin proves how much dedication and will power that person has!

I understand it is possible to tighten loose skin, But only a couple of CM or an inch or two at max, This severity of loose skin cannot be tightened naturally, the only way to fix it is surgery which can cost upwards of $30,000 :/

I know... I have lost some weight too and i have flabby arms... i always cover them up and wear long sleeves or sleeves up to my elbows because I don't like the looks of my loose skin. I don't really think people notice or care as much as I do.
Besides, you are very young, you'll graduate and go to work and you can save up your money to get surgery in 8-10 years!

@asker if you really feel uncomfortable, start doing some research for good Dr. for surgery in other countries that would be cheaper. Cheaper in other countries doesn't mean bad Drs. It means dollar currency in other countries has bigger value. Just like you put yourself a goal and lost all that weight, put your self a goal of money, once you do your research and in some years you will be able to have your surgery. If you are in America, Colombia is well known for good plastic surgery.

People who all the time throw up their hands and say its hopeless, no one will ever like/love me are selling themselves short. We are not just our physical being. There is more to a lasting and loving relationship, then how you look. My last boyfriend had a birth defect whereby his fingers were fused and it didn't bother me because he was more than just a body part. For all the shallow people out there, why are obese people, bald people, disfigured people, or "ugly people" and on and on married or in relationships? It's because they found someone who wasn't hung up on their physical who did actually find them attractive. As someone pointed out, you may just be surrounded by a certain type of women that doesn't like that, but have you traveled to other places in your country or around the world and or met every woman on the planet? So how would you know if she's not out there yet? So yeah, maybe you haven't found the one just yet. That's a true statement for a lot of people.

Honestly I don't really care about guys bodies that much, if he has an ok face and the other qualities that I like in a person then I would date him. I prefer a normal skinny looking guy but a body on a guy isn't a deal breaker for me, unless it's extremely over weight or extremely skinny.

You could always work out or continue to work out and just be healthy and take care of yourself, you might not lose the extra skin but you could still look good. I've seen so many women who lost a lot of weight, who have extra skin but they still have amazing shapes, some extra skin isn't that bad.

Yes. I was overweight at one point, and then adopted a healthier lifestyle. I got lucky, though, and got away with just a few stretch marks, but no loose skin. But I'm familiar with the struggle and the insecurities and emotional pain that comes with it. If anything, i would admire him for his accomplishment.

So, loose skin wouldn't bother me at all. Plus do you see this dude you can see the ripped muscular body underneath the skin. that is hardwork and devotion that people who never had weight problems would never be willing to do. Al they have to do is drink protein shakes. Weight problems are a serious of eating disorders, hormonal imbalance, mental issues, genetics.. etc Id date him, marry him and have a life with. Now, if only men felt the same way about women who have loose skin.

Im siliar to him, I mean, My loose skin isn't as bad as his, But.. Well, If you can stretch the skin where my moobs use to be by like 2 inches.

you worked hard , nobody can deny you that. I know forsure that there will be a surgery in the next 5 years that will tighten skin up without surgery and will be more than half of the price of traditional skin removal. And there will be a cream that will literally eliminate stretchmarks. Friend of mine is about to open up her own clinic, so i know these things. She says they are all in there testing period before they come out on the market. So there is hope, even so loose skin wouldn't turn me off

And if he was a great guy and treated me well, then yes, I would absolutely give him a chance.

I'm not a face person, or a body person. I date for the personality and how I'm made to feel. That's it. Initial attraction is great, but I can get over pretty much anything.

Absolutely yes I would. He probably worked hard to lose that weight. Besides that though everyone has imperfections. I wouldn't want him amy guy judging me or avoiding me because of something so insignificant. As long as he had a good personality (not a douche) and I found him attractive, the loose skin wouldn't bother me at all.

Yes, of course I would because physical appearance is not what I look for in my significant other. Why does his body have to matter? If he is a sweet, nice, kindhearted person and has a great personality that you like then his body shouldn't phase you. People need to learn how to love people for who they are not what they look like.

I did answer yes, but... It would all depend on the guy. If I am being honest, it would have to be that connection that you don't have with anyone else. It would have to be quick and come on strong or I would friendzone him.
I would like to point out that surgery isn't always super expensive. And if you can get a doctor to say that the folds of skin are causing medical issues, you can get some covered by insurance.
