Why do girls like status so much?

This isn't a rant. I recently got really active on facebook and twitter and before when I didn't girls wouldn't even say hi to me at class.
Once i got 20+ likes and stuff the very next day "Im not lying" they came to me and talked to me in class.

Before, you weren't on their radar. Now, they can see something about you, so it gets them curious.

If you get popular, flash (like have a nice car), have something people talk about, you can get a lot of women.

The reasons are complex.

Many women are insecure, so they seek validation from their peers. At least not rejection. So they are much more likely to engage conversation with you if her friends know you, and find you cool.

People can only know what they know. You having a status is more information than none. If people have no information about you, they aren't likely to engage conversation with you.

Women like to feel safe. Having information about you makes them more comfortable.

There are business people that make millions a year, and find it harder to have a woman's attention than the homeless guy playing guitar in the corner. Because they don't flash.

Don't believe the hype. Don't drink the cool-aid. Getting female attention, chasing the nookie, doesn't get you anywhere. If you seem cool, a lot of people want to hang out with you. That's good for them, but really just a waste of time for you.

The same women that talk to you when you have 20 likes, will drop you when you make any choices that aren't likely to get many likes. By that, I mean, say you are a doctor. Everyone approves, so these women love that. Then, you want to change, maybe become an actor. They will all try to change your mind. They will dump you when you do. Thank god Ken Jeong ignored that advice. We wouldn't have Leslie Chow otherwise!

So, to resume, evolution. Women are physically weaker, they require group validation.
