So there is this girl from my school who I talk to quite a bit because of homework etc. The other night we were texting each other back and forth about some random stuff and I eventually said goodnight to signal that I was going to get some sleep. We have done this before on a few occasions but this was the first time she has ever used the 😊 emoji. I was wondering if this means anything special. I also do have a crush on her so yeah...

I think it's cute how some guys kinda over analyze emojis haha
It would mean I'm just being friendly. If I used a winky or kissy face emoji then I'd be flirting but maybe that's just me. That's still a good sign, I think.
