Why would she put her hand on my stomach when hugging?

Went in for a hug with a friend of mine a few days ago and she put her hand on my stomach and it just felt odd. Why would she put it there though. Someone tried to say she was trying to keep me from getting too close but both her arms were around me, not between us.

Maybe she just has a pair of long arms so they come round to your stomach..
