Is my girlfriend embarrassed of me?

We have been together for nearly five months. I feel weird that she has never used our photos as her profile or cover photo on any social website, nor has she ever set them as her phone background or something. She also never asked to put a relationship status with me on Facebook.

I respect that because after all I have no rights to make her change her mind but sometimes it makes me feel like she is embarrassed of me. I mean maybe she's shy or want to be more private about our relationship but isn't it normal for couples to do those things?

Bruh its all good I'm the same I mean I don't do it for many reasons one my family is on Feb and I'm not allowed to have a boyfriend 😂 but you don't need social media in order to be official or something the important thing is that she's with you. And does she go out with you in public? Does she introduce you to friends? Have you met her family? If you said yes to those questions then I wouldn't worry about it tbh

I mean. If she's not big into social media I don't think it's a big deal. I use Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram but not enough that I feel the need to document my relationship. My boyfriend is kind of the same way so it doesn't bother him, but that's just our situation.

Is she normally a private person? I am and I wouldn't feel comfortable having that all over Facebook. Is her relationship status even filled out? (I might be concerned if it said "single.")

I just read a study that said happier couples typically keep their relationship off Facebook. So no worried :) Talk to her about it if it reallyyyy bothers you. Also, have you met her friends or family yet?

Depends on the couple. My boyfriend and I have been together for about three years and the only thing he's done like that is having our old prom picture on his phone background for a while. I'm not bothered by it, we aren't a very showy couple.

No I wouldn't want to be on facebook or anything!!! I like my life private and thats that!
