Why do Pakistani women have more self respect than English women?

Question

I used to believe from ignorance, that Pakistani women were oppressed and did not have the freedom English women do, but since I got married to a Pakistani woman, I know that is just not true! For example English women think nothing of sleeping with 20 guys on holiday etc.. Where Pakistani women would be repulsed by such slutty behaviour. I have always been drawn to Muslim ladies for this very reason, I see women everywhere but ladies are very rare. But this is not just a Muslim modesty thing, we see it in Christian/Pakistanis and of other faiths too? The Pakistani community have been amazing! All have said you are both very lucky etc.. But due to me good looks there are Jealous English girls what ask my wife why she does not marry a Pakistani man etc,.. But I just brush it off. I can not come up with a single answer why do Pakistani Ladies have more self respect than English women?

Why do girls put up stupid selfies with duck faces wearing lingerie on Facebook? Because if you get 78 likes you MUST be attractive.
It's probably due to the cosmopolitans and nikki minage music videos. This is how you should look, f*** who you want and f*** who you like.
It's sad really. People of faith who cover their bodies and heads might be seen as oppressed. But when many of these people have more secure and intellectual relationships over insecure and shallow ones, maybe it is us in the west who are being oppressed.
Yes it's nice to go out dressed like a naked prostitute with fake hair, fake tan, fake nails and fake boobs if you want to - the freedom to do so is wonderful.
But why do we feel like we need to be in this way? Why does the number of sexual partners make you more beautiful than the next girl/boy?
If you are a sexual person so be it. If you want to wait for the right person so be it.
But perhaps address the idealism and wonder why people feel like they need to be promiscuous in order to consider themselves beautiful or sexy.
Other cultures might find big brains sexy, not big boobs or big high heels or big egos. If a man loved me without seeing my body or being intimate in that way, wouldn't you agree that he was the *one*?

Your profile tells me that you are 34 years old.
So chronological age isn't necessarily proportional to maturity.
Let me make it clear that I am not a Western woman.
Making such blanket staatemtns shows your (lack of) maturity and rational thinking.
Pakistani or South Asian culture for that matter is highly conservative and highly sexist.
Women aren't allowed to experiment with their sexuality. A girl who sleeps with someone before marriage is branded as 'slut'.
Pressure from society to be 'modest' is high.
If there is no such pressure, I am sure Pakistani or South Asian women will be as 'promiscuous' as Western women.

well i'm of pakistani descent though i'm American by birth and nationality (and i live in england right now lol). i'd say we're the best of both worlds when we're raised between two different cultures because it's a little more balanced. neither side is completely perfect.

and yes, a bit more conservative christian, jewish, and hindu girls have this modesty, etiquette that you like.

I don't think the have more self respect, they just don't look at sex the same way. Sex is a bigger deal in especially muslim countries, because of religion and culture. Most English countries are secularized and non religious even though they see themselves as Christians for example.

I'm sure there are many respectable English women around. I think it has to do with upbringing, in other parts of the world they look down on promiscuous behavior. There is that idea of a woman being a sacred being. In the West women are viewed as sex objects. Women sleep around because that's what men expect from them. If one girl says no, there will be 100 other girls who will say yes. Welcome to our degenerate culture.

I don't think it has something to do with self respect.. it's just the upbringing and culture... we see sex as a huge thing (given that it's strictly forbidden to have sex before marriage ) so obviously we won't be comfortable getting intimate with many guys...
And sleeping with twenty guys in a row is quite slutty regardless of what a girl's descent is.. and most western women are not like that... as far as I think...

English women are more open minded in that regard. Understanding and tending to their sexuality is not a bad thing. It's not slutty or frowned upon behavior. Most people understand we only have one life to live and don't conform to social standards like some Muslim women do.

Coming from a religion that promises 72 virgins to men doesn't sound slurry at all.
The fact that they cover up their beautiful women just shows how insecure they are. They shove those insecurities down women's throats and brainwash them to believe they are in the right.

You know what happens to Muslim women who sleep before marriage? And regards to "chastity" go to universities, you'll see plenty of Pakistani girls hooking up with other guys. They just do it on the down low.
