An American woman just said on New Zealand Television that American women find the HAKA manly and therefore find it sexy. I would not have thought American women would find the HAKA more sexy than women from other countries.

Yes I can see why some women may find it manly - Going into the animal world there are some mating rituals that are prefaced by a show of manliness - Most intermale fighting among animals in a group is for purpose of impressing the females - I know the Haka is essentially a war dance but you can see how the tangents can be made - Why and if mainly American women are mostly affected, well that is a whole semester of social science classes in Darwinian theory.

I think they always do it more aggressively than normal whenever they play Australia.
Like the haka to Australia is way more aggressive than when they do it to say England or France.

Like they actually want to kill them and turn them into shit by eating them which is what some versions of the Haka actually mean.

It's an intimidation tactic and it has proven to work.
Not that Australia would win any more often if there was no Haka but hammering home the bigness and scaryness of the All blacks right before kick off doesn't exactly even things out

Cause we don't have it in our culture. The indigenous all stars in rugby league have a thing they do but it's less aggressive and more sort of dance around the campfireish.
There is one bit where they all circle around one guy and he comes out of the circle kind of scarily but apart from that.
And I think aborigines would take it as an insult if white people did it.
Plus the Aussie rugby players are mostly drunkards and general nongs. They can't learn something like that without stuffing it up
