Why did I blush when another guy called me cute?

So I'm a straight guy, but this guy called me cute, and my face got hot and my friend said I totally was blushing. I'm not into guys, so why did that happen?

Just caught off guard - I think most straight guys would blush if a gay guy said they were cute though I would blush if a girl said it as well but with a guy it would be a mix of shyness and unexpectedness, doesn't mean anything at all.

I blush whenever Im embarrassed. You could also simply habe felt flattered. Or you did feel some attraction to him and you might be bi or bicurious. Only you know how you actually felt.

Nothing's wrong with being bi or bicurious. Nothing's wtong with being gay either, although that will probably make your life a lot harder. Im bi or bicurious myself, still trying to find out where Im at exactly, but Im lucky with where I live. It's accepted here.

Possibly, I haven't dated any guys but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't attracted to some, mostly muscalar guys.

Not into guys. Relationships don't have to be physically intimate. Sometimes people end up liking someone of the same gender. Even if their originally straight. Attraction comes in all different forms.
