Why do girls that reject me get mad when I burn bridges with them?

I basically stop talking to girls that reject me and most of the time they get upset that I do that. I have no time to continue talking to a girl I was interested in that rejected me. I'm better off pursuing another girl instead of wasting my valuable time trying to convince her to go out or give me a chance.

I dont get it either. How can a guy realistically stay friends with all girls he approaches? You are gonna be left with 150 girls as just friends after some time.

I get that social media makes it easier to stay in touch but it has to stop somewhere and besides, who says we are looking for friendships in the first place? Its like you are looking online to buy a race bike and you eventually settle for moped.

If we are looking for a girlfriend we are looking for just that and girls must accept that we are not settling for any less.

Ha - this is one of those girl ironies - I've had that too (and later became direct from the outset - which has its own problems, but doesn't get the ones who believe they should be getting attention for nothing in return sticking around).
No fault on your part, let them deal with what they dished out.

Maybe it was confusing for them that you started talking to them as a friend... and then stopped. They thought you're still friends... But they probably had no idea the only reason you started talking to them is because you wanted to date them.
Maybe, next time, just chat a bit, don't create a friendship, but ask them out the second time you see them... so there's no confusion.

You have the right to choose to not speak after rejection. This idea that everyone must remain friends at all costs is complete hooey. As long as you aren't rude, you aren't wrong. Who cares if they are "upset," as long as you aren't ignorant to them, let it all go.

If you stop talking to them rudely, they get pissy. If you basically say, I'm not interested in friendship with you, sorry, they'll probably just be a little stung and move on. No harm done. Just gotta do it right. Hope that was helpful.

As somebody who values their time and doesn't believe in friendships with women I get this a lot.
I never understood it, I thought I'm very clear in what my intentions are so why would you want to hang with someone you clearly have conflicting interests with.

I guess people are just bitter over the idea that they are not worthy of being friends with, or they were playing you in the first place. (in which case, their problem)

I would cut contact with someone who rejected me too. It's pointless keeping in contact with someone who has turned you down.

They probably get upset because they feel rejected by you too for cutting them of... it's so ironic really

Do you try being friends with them first? If thats the case then they have the right to get mad.

Imagen if one of your friends stop talking to you just because you don't make them laugh anymore. Then you find out that they said that they don't have time to talk/befriend someone who doesn't make him laugh. You'd feel betrayed because the whole time you thought they liked you for you.

You also should take into account that how you approach people may not be interpreted by them in the way that you'd like. So, like somebody else said, maybe they thought you were just being friendly.
