What does it mean if a girl blinks a lot when I look at her?

I don't think this girl likes me, but for some reason when I look at her she starts blinking a lot and turns away. She doesn't stare at me though.

I don't think it means anything really.. Maybe she had a twitch? Or realised when you both made eye contact that she was staring into space and just snapped out of it.

She sits in front of me, when she looks aside and I am not looking at her everything is OK, but when I lift my eyes she blinks.

Maybe, but not much anyway, she is very quiet and rarely speaks to anyone except her friends.

Well somebody has to make the first move. You can do it. Just smile and say hi. If she says hi back and smiles ask her about something you have in common like a test in class or say hey have you seen this movie or are you going to the game.
