What does it mean when women twist their wedding rings on their fingers when they talk?

She's married, so I'm not interested at all. I didn't know her, so it's not like we have any rapport. But I noticed when we started talking, she started twisting her wedding ring, and stroking her ring finger.

At first I thought it was a subtle sign that she wasn't available, though I wasn't flirting at all. And she kept doing it for the whole conversation. Sort of fidgety, but all the fidgeting was focused on her ring. And I'm not real overbearing or intimidating. Any idea what it means when women fidget with their wedding rings around guys?

I would assume it's just a nervous habit, something to fiddle with. Probably not any kind of signal.

It's probably innocent. Seems like she could be shy or slightly socially awkward

Its just a habit. It means absolutely nothing.

The important question is, does she do that with other people? If not, she is probably attracted to you. However, if she does this all of the time (as a regular fidget) then it probably doesn't mean anything at all.
