What makes a girl grind with a guy in the club?

I know that 'Looks are Subjective' & stuff like that but it kinda irritates me when I see a girl grind on guys she otherwise wouldn't even look at if the cross each other on the road or on a college campus lol :D So I thought of posting a survey as per what I see ot observe in clubs, but you can add more options along with your views in comments.

Physique

Dance (as in he knows how to move his body)

Aggression

Attitude or Xfactor as he stands in a corner

Depends on how drunk the girl is

based on my experience bro is that you have to be pro active

if you see a group of girls dancing together move in and dance in the middle of them
knowing how to dance helps as well and being good looking is a big factor as well but that doesn't mean shit if ur not pro active
u can even come up behind and grind if you wanted too if she moves away then she's not interested but dont let that down you just move on to the next girl

In the club i would classify myself as a good dancer but due to me dancing for long periods of time without break and busting out difficult moves they find it a bit intimidating and will just dance near u for the whole night lol
so once you see a girl checking you out start moving towards her direction make eye contact take her hand pull her towards you and grind away

Looks, physique, confidence, dance moves.
If the guy is hot but he's just sitting on a corner, he won't get any girls. There's average guys that are confident and go there to have fun, and they get to grind with girls.

what if I am average on the confidence scale? is it ok to just go n stand behind a girl or what? i have gotten girls like that a few times

Girls usually care about having fun, so if you're having fun, then they will take you (assuming they also find you attractive, and that they actually want to dance with a guy, some girls just don't want that).
So what I usually do is just dance with my friends, have fun, and if I see a cute girl I'll just make eye contact (if I can) and then start dancing with her if I see she gives me a positive response.
If you can't make eye contact for whatever reason (maybe it's a concert and she's in front of you looking to the stage) then just get behind her and make her notice your presence, if you see that she doesn't move away, then proceed to grab her waist. It doesn't always work, but it works many times in my experience. If it doesn't work, just move on, no big deal.

This entirely depends on how drunk the girl is. I don't grind on guys at all, but my female friends and I will if they get me drunk enough. I'm not gay, I just feel uncomfortable with guys because they view it as sexual while my female friends and I do it to tease guys, not because we're gay for each other.

I have to have a minimum of one drink to dance with a guy, but two is better. I usually keep about a foot of space between us and put my arms on his shoulders and sway back and forth without.

But my friends will dance with guys no problem. They usually do more grinding when their boyfriends have just broken up with them or they're horny. But I'd say most of them female grinding in clubs is alcohol -related.

It really depends on the girl. Back in my clubbing days, my girls and I could care less who we were dancing with.. we just wanted to dance! But I can't say that is true of all girls as some may find it creepy. Some sort of gesture, from the front (not coming up behind her!) may be nice. Don't even bother trying to talk.. club is not the place for that!
