Why would a girl squint her eyes when I talk to her?

I was recently hanging out with a female friend and it seemed we had a great time and great conversation. I noticed something though, when I would talk to her from time to time she squinted her eyes at me and we were sitting across from each other. I also noticed when I was talking to her one time she sucked in both of her lips. I made a couple jokes and it seemed she laughed hard at them. Are these signs she is interested in me?

Squinting could quite simply be she has poor eyesight (I do, trust me, squinting really helps make things a bit clearer when my contacts are too weak!!) however, the lip thing could have just been you misinterpreting it from meaning more than it does. As a female myself, I've read up a lot on communicative gesture, and it is a possible sign that she laughs at your jokes, and sounds genuinely like she enjoys your company, rather than is humouring you. If you like her, I'd gently broach the subject. Nothing too brash like "Want to date me?" etc, but don't be too roundabout. Something like "Maybe we could go for dinner together sometime?" or something like that to break the ice a little so you can progress. Good luck :)
