I've known this girl for 3 years. At first this girl couldn't look me in the eyes very well and while talking she'd get red and have a big smile on her face and didn't look me in the eyes. Well when she makes eye contact she smiles and never stops, she continues staring at me when I look away. We pause in conversation and she's still smiling making eye contact doesn't stop and she continues looking when I know she is and I break eye contact. I made a joke and she sat there in silence staring into my eyes and when I look away is staring at me. she does it in front of her friends one giggles uncomfortably, one time we did it in front of her bff she was looking at me and smiling. She'll stand right there with complete focus on me facing me staring when I'm not looking at her or facing her. I've been in the auditorium and we're watching a play she stares at me when I turn instead of watching the play. In class when I turn to stretch my legs she's staring and when we're taking notes I have seen her stare when I turn. When we make eye contact she never breaks eye contact and staring deeply into my eyes like time stops. We pause in conversation she's smiling and staring into my eyes and I get a gut feeling. She does it when a conversation ends and she's smiling and gazing deeply into my eyes, I look away she's still doing it. She never ends the eye contact continues staring at me when I break eye contact. When I sat next to her to talk to her she made no eye contact. I went to her work at a restaurant and she was in one place and said hi then moved to have a straight view of me and stayed there the whole time staring a bit. I saw her in a car drunk I look over and she stares back, widens her eyes and raised her eyebrows lowers her head and has complete focus on me she doesn't stop once I look away. I worked with her she watched me put on a jacket looking at my arms lips and eyes when I catch her she's still staring. Why would a girl do it, I'm clueless on how to respond?
