Is my girlfriend flirting with my friend?

I hang out with my girlfriend and my bestfriend in a group of 3 quite often. My friend is the 3rd wheel, but my girlfriend and I enjoy his company and it's not a burden.

I know for a fact that my girlfriend's loyal and really into me and even, at times, is kinda clingy. But lately I've been noticing that she's been hovering around him more often... like if we all walk in a group, I'll walk ahead cuz I guess I just kinda walk fast... but I'll look behind and see that they haven't caught up and are making conversation/laughing as they walk at their own pace.

My friend's not a threatening dude, and I know he's not the type of guy to make any advances on her. He's actually quite silly and at times hard to take seriously, even for her... but he's funny, he's a fun dude who adds to the group's energy. I'm just not sure if my girlfriend is subconsciously flirting with him or if she's trying to make me jealous.

What should I even do in this situation? Do I hold her hand and lead her so she keeps up?

Should I even address it, or just leave it? And how do I do so without coming across insecure?

She could just enjoy his company. My crush and I hang out in a group of three and even though I like him, I get along with his friend a little better. We share a lot of the same humor and he's just over all funny. When you have a relationship between a straight male and female there is almost always going to be that attraction. It's natural. It's also natural to feel a little intimidated by your best friend making your girlfriend laugh. Does that mean you should be threatened by it? I'm not too sure. If things get a little touchy feely that's when I think you should step in.

You could even try to insert yourself a little more. If they're having a conversation, just throw in your input. Try to stay by your girlfriend's side while you three are walking. Or even try holding her hand like you said but don't try to pull her away from your friend. It's good to have relationships outside of your SO.

I think you should leave it. She's just making conversation with your friend, there's nothing wrong with that. You should trust both him and her enough to know there's nothing going on there, and it looks like there isn't either.

You're probably right. I haven't been getting much sleep lately and it's got me pretty paranoid, skewing the situation into something worse than actually is.

Yup confront her about it and let her know that you don't like it... simple as that... she should immediately stop after that... if she is really flirting
