There is a woman at the gym that I think is flirting with me. She is about my age and really in great shape. I hardly ever talk to anyone there, I go there to workout, not to meet women. If I am doing cardio on an elliptical machine I have noticed that she has been using the machine next to me. Today I was working out on the bike and she got on the bike that was next to me and the other 5 bikes were not being used.

Sometimes she smiles at me.

there is a training room that i use on a regular basis. It has squat racks, some sleds, K-straps and other equipment. I workout there after I do cardio. last week she has been showing up in that room. I have never seen her there before, Am I just imagining this?

I was sick for a while and did not workout for 3 weeks. When I got back I noticed that this woman was not there anymore. after a few weeks I figured that she was gone. Last Friday i am pulling into the parking lot. A car suddenly pulls in next to my truck and it is her. I just said good morning to her and ask her how her workouts were going. She tells me she has been using the pool because she is training for a triathlon.

The hardest part about getting into a relationship is finding the person. Especially these days.
So she thinks she doesn't have to take the time and energy out of her life to go out and find a guy of her own - she'll just take your wife's man instead. It's easier.
If she talks to you tell her to leave you alone that you only go to the gym for exercise and if she keeps talking to you then you need to put her in her place and she shouldn't be very happy about what you say to her!!

Well, I don't like it!!! She's trying to impress you by telling you about her triathlon. She parked her car right next to yours hoping to have a conversation with you, and she did, so her conniving plan worked.
If you weren't married then this would be okay. But she knows that you have a wife already and yet she's pursuing you.

See, you're being too nice so she's going to continue with this behavior. If you are liking it, we'll then don't come here and act like she's bothering you.
It just angers me that you are allowing it to continue because you have spoken very highly of your wife to us here many time, yet you won't go to bat for your wife and tell this woman that you have a wonderful wife and that you are happily married and that you no longer desire to have conversions with her.

I wouldn't say it's flirtatious behavior, it's more letting you know she's approachable. She's letting you know she's comfortable being in your space and having you in hers. Girls do that! My friends and I guess me too, would squeeze between to people at a bar to get a drink, even though it's empty, just to stand next to a guy they're interested in lol...
