What are mind games women play?

What are mind games that women play? My recent ex broke up with me because I "play too many games and I make everything about myself". I was left baffled because I wasn't playing any games, and I did NOT make everything about myself. I've searched the internet on how women do both of these things, and everything I found I did not do. He refuses to talk to me, and I don't want to make these mistakes in my next relationship, or if we ever reconcile. I just wanted to see what other people say to see if I missed something.

Could giving him space when he doesn't ask for it be considered a "mind game"? He started his MBA and his job is stressful. On top of that he was trying to sell his house (he moved for his job). I could tell a change in him because of all this, he even flat out told me he was stressed and certain things were pissing him off. So I backed off, I gave him space and we went from seeing each other every day to just on the weekends. I can't think of anything and he never told me exactly what I did.

She dresses up to flaunt her appearance then gets mad when she is complimented by a guy she doesn't find attractive.

"I have a boyfriend" when she does not.

Shows a guy attention then dismisses him when she gets distracted by something more interesting to her.

Pouts to get her way.

Manipulates facts with emotional appeal instead of with logic.

Gossips about men behind their back. Gets offended when the happens to her.

Makes the guy cater to her needs yet provides very little in return if at all.

States her laundry list of requirements then dates a fucking douschebag who is none of that.

Requires compromise yet is unwilling to compromise herself.

Says nothing is wrong when she is clearly leading him into a trap because something is wrong but she won't say it.

Doesn't talk with him yet gushes the second she is around her girls.

Girls night is sacred but he cannot be trusted with his mates.

Doesn't show interest then asks why he doesn't like her. Often she is giving unclear signals.

Goes out with her girls expecting dick yet shuts down every guy that tries to approach them and belittles them with her crew.

Bitchs about the toilet seat yet can't realize that men have to touch it too to put it up.

Unreasonable expectations for her man.

Vocal tone. Saying one thing but tone of voice relays entirely different meaning.

Lies to get what she wants yet gets made when lied to.

Dates multiple guys at once. Shows love to more than one man while in a relationships, often to make him more jealous and chase her more. Often has the opposite effect.

Some of the things women tend to play as far as games.

Extreme passiveness and then ask for something and then refuse it.

Seem two faced/bipolar

Ask to be loved but really mean the opposite.

Seem to be angry but really just trying to be playful.

Sometimes being nit picky and really commanding can get to the point its borderline nagging.

These are a few of the 1000 or so games women play with guy unintentionally. And these are the basic ones that are easily mis read.

Tbh you probably did play those games, you just weren't aware of it because to you, it made sense and seemed normal.

I'm aware of that... that is the reason I'm asking the question. I want to know what people consider mind games to see if I somehow did this.

Well, it differs from person to person, but what I consider "mind games" is when the other person either:
- when they say one thing and expect you to be able to read their minds, and when you do whatever wrong, they get mad.
- passive aggressive bullshit. If you're mad, be mad but also be straight about what you're mad about.
- playing weird games that try to test loyalty or whatever. Like just random little pop quizzes where there is only a wrong/even wronger answer.
- playing around and when things don't go their way they get mad.
- when they want something, and they act all coy and shit and expect you to know what they want and get it for them or something.

Stuff like that. Different people have different thresholds for tolerating mind games and stuff so it really depends.
