As a guy, I absolutely hate snapchat filtered photo's girls upload, especially on dating websites.

As a guy it comes across to me, that you have self image issues and not serious about looking for a relationship. You don't wear dog ears and bunny noses in real life, so why put filtered images on dating websites.

Personally it's a fad that 12 year olds started, and for me it's just immature and stupid. Sorry girls, but that's the truth!

It's not the dog ears etc. It's the fact the filters fundamentally change the rest of your face as well - bigger eyes, higher cheekbones, smoother skin, smaller nose.

They annoy men for 2 reasons.

Firstly, it's misleading and we often don't even know what someone even looks like if, for example, all of their pictures on Tinder have the filter.

Secondly, it's just the fakeness. You pretend you use the filters because you want to have f"un", when it's actually just the fact that they make you look a lot more attractive than you really are.

Imagine if guys photoshopped all their pictures, so they had smaller noses, bigger eyes, better cheekbones, slimmer faces? Wouldn't you think that was a bit odd/creepy

The animalfilters aren't even an issue for most men. Its the facial enhancement filters that are. Ok, enhancing your face on a picture with it once or twice ain't bad, but today almost every girl and woman usez them in every picture. Ok it can be cute, but after a while it starts to have an opposite effect. I asked a friend of mine why she uses fb ose filters for everything. And she said that she wants to look and be atracctive towards men... So thats when i explained to her that men really dont find it attractive at all. Men are attracted to women's natural appearance. They are the most attractive when they look all natural. Once you start fucking with filters you're effectively spoiling your appearance which ruins what was originally a potentially great photograph and a beautifull face. Because too much uses of those things lead to start losing interest in you loved one and can and will start to cause complexions and negative self images. The dog filter isn't even bugging me...
