Is Snapchat sexist? Why are majority of the filters feminine?

Nearly every Snapchat filter addition is tendered to women. It's like they don't even recognize that us males also enjoy some Snapchat fun. I for one find it quite ridiculous.

What is even classified as feminine these days? What is a man? What is a woman? Who even knows. And what about dogs. I believe that dog filters appropriate dog culture and we should be more sensitive to the canine society. Have we even looked into the consequences of not doing so? I think we should...

Most men dont feel the need to look beautiful or feel beautiful. they already know they are and dont need a filter. so i guess the snap chat people see that and know they can only put so many filters in there and chose to make them more feminine.

Oh god another question complaining about an insignificant instance they believe is sexist.
Snapchat is more geared towards teenage girls. And even with that they have "masculine" filters (like the transformers one.)
It's sexist you even need to define filters as masculine or feminine

  Yup. You're forgetting about the dog filter, the pie filter, the card filter, the transformers filter, the pirate filter, the filter WITH A LITERAL BEARD, the sunglasses filter, and the animal filters.

  You didn't deny that all the filters I listed are gender neutral or masculine.

  And it's more socially acceptable (at least in the us) for men to wear makeup.

Not a lot of guys gather round and take selfies with the filters to be honest (from what i've seen on my stories etc) and id imagine itd be hard to create filters for males? Like what type of filters would you like?

  Honestly I can't really be brought to care on this one. The vaaaast majority of products are aimed at men and women have to make do. I don't think one app making you feel that way will hurt you and maybe you can think about how women feel.
