Snapchat filters: do they annoy you?

It's annoying to me when someone uses Snapchat filters for every picture they take.

I think its pretty funny and it can add humour to a conversation. The whole idea is not to take yourself seriously.

But yeah when a girl over does it consistently on all her pictures... it's a little odd... and obviously she's compensating for something. Especially those girls who weirdly crop their foreheads off so you can't see all the antlers and stars and stuff and tell it's a filter.. and then you get those other girls who crop their forehead off so they can fit more cleavage in to the picture... nice to know they have their priorities straight lol 🤣👌

The difference I have noticed between girls and guys is... girls will use it to look more sexy where as guys would use it for a laugh.

They only annoy me when a person is trying to look appealing and they have like something covering half of their face 👀😂 or they're trying to pass a filtered photo as their normal face state... That can be very deceiving...

But if they use it for fun and don't want people to actually think that's what they look irl, then I don't mind. I can imagine that using a filter to make yourself more attractive would probably take some hits on self esteem when taking regular photos. Using it more often probably has more detrimental effects than positive ones.

Yes! I hate how people never actually look like the pictures they take. Someone met up with me one day to buy a thing I listed online. She was surprised, she was like "I found you easily, you actually look like your photo". Is that what this world has come to?

Nothing worse than putting fake flowers on your head. If you want a flower crown... umm go out and make one there an idea.
emojis on you pic smiling for you or copying what you do make no sense...

And it creepy when people put cat ears and shit on their face (grown ass people at that).

I personally love it when people tell me I look better in real life than my photo no offense is ever taking.

It’s just another layer of make up fake.
Tinder all fat girls use it or girls who have something to hide.
I also can't judge a girl with them so I will reject any girl who uses them.
It also clearly shows insecurity about their looks so bad they need to filter it.

It's so overdone now and the people that love them do get annoying because it's every other picture for them. I did find it funny though Facetiming with my young nephews when my Sister in Law put the filters on and they couldn't figure out what the stuff on their face was so they kept looking behind them and trying to get it off. Yeah. I used to use them and it made my self esteem plummet. As soon as I’d turn off the filter I’d be left looking at my naked, ugly face. The snapchat filter makes your eyes bigger, makes your nose smaller, and makes your cheeks smaller. It’s all very subtle but it’s still a difference.
