I think its pretty funny and it can add humour to a conversation. The whole idea is not to take yourself seriously.
But yeah when a girl over does it consistently on all her pictures... it's a little odd... and obviously she's compensating for something. Especially those girls who weirdly crop their foreheads off so you can't see all the antlers and stars and stuff and tell it's a filter.. and then you get those other girls who crop their forehead off so they can fit more cleavage in to the picture... nice to know they have their priorities straight lol 🤣👌
The difference I have noticed between girls and guys is... girls will use it to look more sexy where as guys would use it for a laugh.

They only annoy me when a person is trying to look appealing and they have like something covering half of their face 👀😂 or they're trying to pass a filtered photo as their normal face state... That can be very deceiving...
But if they use it for fun and don't want people to actually think that's what they look irl, then I don't mind. I can imagine that using a filter to make yourself more attractive would probably take some hits on self esteem when taking regular photos. Using it more often probably has more detrimental effects than positive ones.
Yes! I hate how people never actually look like the pictures they take. Someone met up with me one day to buy a thing I listed online. She was surprised, she was like "I found you easily, you actually look like your photo". Is that what this world has come to?
It's just cutesy fun. If I see them posted everyday, I kind of roll my eyes but I'm not letting it bother me.

Yes, very much so.
Nothing worse than putting fake flowers on your head. If you want a flower crown... umm go out and make one there an idea.
emojis on you pic smiling for you or copying what you do make no sense...
And it creepy when people put cat ears and shit on their face (grown ass people at that).
I personally love it when people tell me I look better in real life than my photo no offense is ever taking. It's very annoying. Especially the bug eyes. I can't stand the bug eyes. I don't know why chicks think that looks good. Like big-ass anime eyes.
Yes very.
It’s just another layer of make up fake.
Tinder all fat girls use it or girls who have something to hide.
I also can't judge a girl with them so I will reject any girl who uses them.
It also clearly shows insecurity about their looks so bad they need to filter it.They only annoy me when people act like its their actual face.
I barely use them but when I do its just for me to make funny videos bc the voices and the faces are funny sometimes😂😂 but people be using them filters and acting like their all that when their not🙄😂It's so overdone now and the people that love them do get annoying because it's every other picture for them. I did find it funny though Facetiming with my young nephews when my Sister in Law put the filters on and they couldn't figure out what the stuff on their face was so they kept looking behind them and trying to get it off. LOL.
Is that what those ridiculous things are? Odd they are called filters considering how much 'shit' they contribute to a photograph.
Yes, they are annoying. It's fine to use them as a joke to send to your friends but putting them up on your instagram and dating profiles makes you look fucking retarded. It looks even more ridiculous on guys than girls.
The only one that annoys me is that weird dog or puppy filter
No it doesn't annoy me in the slightest. I mean why should it? It's only filters. There bigger and more important things to get bothered by in this world. Such a silly thing to make such a big deal of...
It doesn’t annoy me because they are just pictures. How someone chooses to capture themselves has nothing to do with me. Most of them are meant to be lighthearted and funny. So I don’t care to think that deeply into recreational technology.
yes it annoys me BIG TIME. Most of them look ridiculous and it is more ridiculous, especially when the one using the filters are really grown up mature people, instead they look like stupid kids or teenagers.
These people believe they look fine but it is totally the opposite.Yeah. I used to use them and it made my self esteem plummet. As soon as I’d turn off the filter I’d be left looking at my naked, ugly face. The snapchat filter makes your eyes bigger, makes your nose smaller, and makes your cheeks smaller. It’s all very subtle but it’s still a difference.
Yes! It’s annoying for me. I can’t stand the silly filters, especially the dog one! I just don’t get it why people want to use them.
Yes they do. But mostly the ones that airbrush and enhance the face. It's like an accepted lie. Women are beautiful and don't need them.
no. i think there are more important things to get irritated at than girls using photo effects. its really not that deep.
Yeah they do piss me off a bit I mean some girls tinders are all snap chat filters covering up all of there face
For every pic, yes that's just annoying. It's like they've lost the ability to take a normal photo.
Oh yes it's so annoying, especially if every one of their pics is filtered and they keep posting and posting.
fuck yeah they piss me off... why do women use them CONSTANTLY? is it too much to ask to have a NORMAL selfie?
Not only do they annoy me beyond anything else but they make people that use them look so superficial.
