It can add a touch of playfulness and fun to a photo. Some of the filters are really cute, silly or over the top. Also some people like to use filters to hide certain flaws or to enhance their appearance.

I hate filters. I have never used them in my life. They cover up "flaws" and are fake. I am very authentic and I don't cover up my personality.
